В чому особливість методу EMS

This method has been known for a long time. Since the middle of the 20th century. in the USSR and Europe, this technology has been used in big sports and medicine to stimulate muscles. Cosmonauts were also rehabilitated after a long stay in weightlessness with its help. EMS began to be used massively for training ordinary people at the beginning of the 21st century.
The difference of this method is that it stimulates muscle tension from the outside. An electric current that is safe for the body irritates the motor cell - the motor neuron, and due to this, muscle fibers contract. They contract much more than with maximum volitional effort during physical exercises.
During such training, a person feels a contraction of both agonist and antagonist muscles. Thanks to a special suit to which electrodes are attached, the trainer can regulate the impulse. Gradually increasing it, he determines the level at which the client can no longer perform exercises due to pain.
Each person will have their own intensity, since everyone has their own level of pain threshold. The level of fitness and the percentage of muscle and fat mass also affect. Fat does not conduct electricity, so overweight people do not feel the impulse. For them, it should be used with greater depth. Exercises should be selected with your own weight or minimal additional weight. This will form the correct technique. If you take more weight under the impulse, it will add load, reduce the effectiveness of EMS and can cause injuries: stretching, overstrain or muscle rupture. Therefore, use rubber shock absorbers, exercises with your own weight, static and statodynamic exercises.
